I love to see you shine

Inspired by the shifting light and colours of the Irish landscape, I painted on the floor with pieces of raw canvas. The canvas was my tool as I sculpted it into landscapes, allowing water and paint to move through its valleys and peaks. It’s a slow meditative process. I sat and watched and waited. Colours became muted as they soaked into the fibres of the raw canvas. Time, medium and material slowly became a painting
