Mother and Son Unknown 2

Part of a body of work created for my solo exhibition ‘Girl Unknown’ in Limerick Museum, inspired by old photographs from the Museum archive of unknown women.  Their names are not recorded and no one knows who they are.  I was struck by the tenderness of this image of a young mother holding her young son.
